Thermal insulation has a positive economic return on the consumer, so many countries have taken the initiative to enact legislation and set regulations to make its use mandatory in all buildings, and from this point of view and in order to ensure the available electric energy from waste, which the state incurs a lot in order to provide it to the citizen at prices lower than its actual cost, and suffers from The electricity utilities are difficult in order to connect it to every part of the Kingdom, which has been keen on enacting the necessary legislation to implement thermal insulation on a mandatory basis. This trend culminated in the issuance of Royal Decree No. 7/905/m dated 4/29/1405 AH, which affirms the competent authorities to reduce electrical consumption in existing government buildings and work on the use of thermal insulation in state buildings and private buildings that will be constructed in the future. It was updated by Royal Decree No. 6927 / MB dated 9/22/1431 AH, which stipulates the mandatory application of thermal insulation to all new residential and commercial buildings and other facilities, similar to government facilities in the main cities of the Kingdom.
